In the warm afterglow of Christmas tree lights and luminescent gift wrapping, I wondered to myself if there was a word to describe those blissful days between Christmas and New Year's, where the spirit of the holidays hangs high and one begins looking towards the new year. I was more than a little pleased to find that there is such a word, newly coined to describe what, I suspect, others have also embraced. Interestingly, the word romjul in Norwegian is a precise term for this week. In English, however, we call it interscotia. From this query resulted the following playlist, for this uniquely neither-Christmas, neither-New Year's, holiday spirit.
